Since 2011, Lunieva has been striving to bring authentic and eye-catching apparel imported directly from the small Himalayan country of Nepal with the goal of bringing beautiful Nepali produced goods into the public eye. But providing high quality wool products is only a portion of the whole story.
The heart of Lunieva is located in Kathmandu Nepal, where upwards of 80 women are employed to hand knit each piece of apparel you see before you. In doing so, these women gain access to a source of income to provide for their families and financial independence in a historically patriarchal society. Lunieva ensures that these women are treated with the utmost of respect and are made sure to be fairly compensated for their labor.
